Because I eat apples everyday and it is fairly easy to get organic apples that's exactly what I try to do. Superstore has some awesome organic apples and the price isn't too much more than you would pay for regular apples. Safeway's organic apple selection is OK but they don't have my favorites. OverallI would liken the difference in appearance of the regular apples to organic apples to that of developed photos: either they are glossy or mat. REgular apples usually shine like the sun, probably due to whatever they are being coated with after picking, while the organic apples have a mat look to them. I'm assuming that they aren't covered in wax and crap. I hope so anyway. Once the checkout lady at Safeway asked me if it was worth it purchasing organics and I honestly didn't know. But my response was that it is worth the gamble. One day I'm going to have to figure out what exactly the difference is.
Breakfast:
4 Sausages
Fuji apple
Lunch:
Went to Baun Thai for lunch today for their awesome lunch buffet. Had: approx 12 chicken satay, 12 spring rolls, some broccoli, and cant remember the names of the last 2 but it was spicy shredded beef with red peppers and a mushroom soup type dealie, except the mushrooms were halved.
The beauty of going all out for lunch is I find I don't have to eat the rest of the day; its 7:30 and I'm still full!
Drink:
Just boring ol water, approx 1 litre. Super thirstly for some reason.
Symptoms:
Unfortunately I can't stay away from the spring rolls and I assume that they are wrapped in rice paper and now is when I pay for it. Overall its not so bad, just some stiffness on the lower right spine. Usually, if I have been adhering to the diet previous to the visit to the buffet, and I have, I should be good tomorrow.
